Alpha Trader Firm Rules and Regulations
News Trading
- You cannot open or hold trades 5 minutes before, during, or 5 minutes after a red folder news event without the News Trading Add-On.
- Violating this rule will result in a hard breach.
Copy Trading
- Copying other people’s trades or using robots is not allowed and will get your account closed permanently with no refund.
- You must trade by yourself. Ask support if you're unsure about using robots or AI.
Expert Advisors (EAs)
- You can use EAs or AI trading, but you must follow the rules to stay safe.
- These rules help prevent too much risk from automation.
Weekend Trading
- Without the Add-On, you must close all trades by 4 PM (ET) on Friday and can't trade during the weekend.
- With the Add-On, you can keep trades open and trade anytime on the weekend.
Lot Size
- There are no lot size limits. You can trade any size you want.
- You are free to choose lot sizes based on your strategy.
Trader Score (Not a Consistency Rule)
- This is not a rule that you must make profit every day.
- Trader Score checks that your profits don’t come from just one lucky day.
Inactivity Rule
- Your account will be closed if there is no trading activity for 30 days.
- To avoid this, place at least one trade every 30 days.
